The International Rescue Committee (IRC) coordinates the provision of services across a broad spectrum of sectors in Kigoma Region, Tanzania. This position is responsible for developing and implementing a strategy of the data management within the CBR programme in Nyarugusu refugee camp in Kasulu District.

This position reports to the CBR IMS supervisor and works closely with the CBR/PSN Supervisors/Managers in coordination with the existing Monitoring and Evaluation system within IRC Kasulu. This position also supports the CBR/PSN sector head in monitoring data and indicators to the CBR program.

IRC seeks to recruit qualified, energetic and committed candidates to fill the following position:

Nyarugusu Refugee Camp, Kasulu Reporting to: CBR Data Supervisor Program Responsibilities:

· Initiate the CBR/PSN data base for easy tracking of cases and supports provided in coordination with the sector heads.

· Identify gaps in data system for CBR/PSN programme and share with the sector heads for planning in line with the existing data systems.

· Capacitate community outreach workers on data collection and analysis for the purpose of tracking services and impact indicators for the CBR/PSN interventions. Compile and analyze data for PSN/PWDs and ensure they are able to determine the social needs in an easy way that can be shared for support in coordination with the sector heads , CBR/PSN Managers/Supervisors and incentive staff.

Ensure that data for PSN/PWDs are collected and documented accurately. Ensure that CBR data tools are updated, tracked , used properly and analyzed Ensure a functioning, efficient internal data tracking systems and data base for the CBR programme.

· Build and maintain effective relationships, with other services providers, colleagues within other sectors and maintain data collection with the incentive staff (community outreach workers.

Collaborate with other CBR/PSN staff (Officers) in preparation and entering the CBR/PSN data accurately during production of monthly reports timely for review by the supervisor before being submitted for final review.

Design tools that can be useful for data collection within the CBR program.

Requirements:

· Bachelor health record administration or Monitoring and evaluation, relevant qualification in Medical records management with at least 1 year relevant work experience; OR at least 2 years relevant experience.

· Experience working in health record and administration and monitoring and evaluation required.

· Experience working in a refugee camp highly desirable.

· Ability to work independently with a high degree of initiative required.

· Good IT skills:

Knowledge of MS Word; Excel and Outlook required and ability to manage project data is a requirement.

· Must be a Tanzanian.

· Swahili and good English written and oral skills required. French a plus
