Tanzania to Host ICC Men’s T20 World Sub Regional Africa Quafier A

Dar es Salaam, Tanzania – 14^th Septemba 2024: The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Sub Regional Africa Qualifier A willtake take place in Tanzania from September 20^th to 26^th, 2024. Six African nations will complete for a coveted spot in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup bringing top –level criket action to Dar es Salaam.

“Dear Cricket lovers, I am excited and honoured as we gear up to host the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Sub Regional Africa Qualifier A Tournement.

This tournament follows the the successful hosting of the ICC Men’s U19 World Cup Africa Qulifier Division 2 in August 2024.

I want to sincerely thank the ICC for trusting Tanzania once again to host consecutive international tpunements. We waemly welcome all participating countries, ICC officials, umpires scorers and guests to our beautiful city, Dar es Salaam.

Cricket in Tanzania continues to grow and I am proud of the progress we’ve made in nurturing local talent. I extendmy gratitude to the Ministry of Culture, Arts and Sports, especially to Honourable Minister Dr Damas Daniel Ndumbarofor his unwavering support.

The TCA, under Dr Sree Kumar’s leadership has made incredible strides in the development   of cricket in Tanzania.
