The LawCon is an annual law conference hosted by Stallion Attorneys. This years edition is called the LawCon 2022 and the theme is The Need For Specialization and Economic Empowerment For Lawyers.” With more than 30 speakers, the Conference was attended by law firms and lawyers. Mr. Shehzada Walli , the Partner at Stallion Attorneys welcomed everyone with brief remarks that “At the LawCon we are going to probe and initiate various discussions and finally prepare a brief report that we can submit to the Tanganyika Law Society, the Council For Legal Education, the Law School of Tanzania, the Ministry of Constitution and Legal Affairs and other Stakeholders who can explore ways to improve the legal profession and to make the legal sector a progressive one.”
The LawCon was officiated by Hon. Judge Mgeta of the High Court of Tanzania who challenged lawyers to “focus more on technology as a means to improve their practice but also in the sphere of specialization.” He also praised the Tanganyika Law Society by saying that “ It is also wonderful to witness the Tanganyika Law Society supporting such initiatives by Law Firms and I encourage other Law Firms and Lawyers to follow the same steps.”
The President of the Tanganyika Law Society, Professor Hosea said in his speech that lawyers need to specialize and be experts just like doctors so that they can earn more and establish themselves in the legal profession.

At the LawCon 2022 Stallion Attorneys in Partnership with Victorian Hub Limited Launched the Tanzania Legal Awards and had Professor Issa Shivji as a guest speaker.
