Tovuti maarufu ya mapitio ya filamu Rotten Tomatoes imetoa orodha ya filamu 100 bora za karne ya 21 (2000-2026) zilizopata sifa kubwa kutoka kwa wakosoaji wa filamu pamoja na watazamaji duniani.

Filamu ya Korea Kusini “Parasite” ya mwaka 2019 iliongoza orodha hiyo baada ya kupata asilimia 99 kutoka kwa wakosoaji na asilimia 90 kutoka kwa watazamaji kupitia mfumo wa Popcornmeter.

Filamu hiyo iliyoongozwa na Bong Joon Ho ilisimulia masuala ya tofauti za kitabaka, tamaa na maisha ya familia mbili kutoka tabaka tofauti nchini Korea Kusini. “Parasite” pia iliandika historia kwa kuwa filamu ya kwanza isiyo ya Kiingereza kushinda tuzo ya Oscar ya Best Picture.

Nafasi ya pili imechukuliwa na “Top Gun: Maverick” ya mwaka 2022 iliyoongozwa na Joseph Kosinski na kuongozwa na mwigizaji Tom Cruise, huku “Finding Nemo” ikishika nafasi ya tatu.

Filamu nyingine zilizofanikiwa kuingia kwenye Top 10 ni pamoja na “How to Train Your Dragon”, “Toy Story 3”, “Up”, “Godzilla Minus One”, “The Wrestler”, “Spotlight” pamoja na “A Separation”.

Kwa mujibu wa Rotten Tomatoes, orodha hiyo iliandaliwa kwa kutumia mfumo unaochanganya tathmini za wakosoaji wa filamu, kura za watazamaji, idadi ya mapitio pamoja na umaarufu wa filamu husika.

Orodha hiyo pia imejumuisha filamu maarufu za superhero, animation, fantasy, horror na drama zilizotawala dunia ya filamu katika miaka ya 2000 hadi sasa.

Miongoni mwa filamu maarufu zilizopo kwenye orodha hiyo ni “The Dark Knight”, “Avengers: Endgame”, “Oppenheimer”, “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse”, “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2”, “John Wick: Chapter 4” pamoja na “The Lord of the Rings”.

Rotten Tomatoes imesema filamu zote zilizopo kwenye orodha hiyo zimepewa hadhi ya “Certified Fresh” kutokana na ubora wake mkubwa na mapokezi mazuri kutoka kwa watazamaji na wakosoaji wa filamu duniani.
