I would like to extend our sincerest gratitude to Tanzania government and our cooperation partners. Thank you all for your long-term concern and support to CNBM.said Mr Sun Lishi, Director of China National Building Material Group.

Recent years have witnessed fast-paced development of Sino-Tanzania relationship. Especially after Chinese President Xi Jinping’s state visit to Tanzania in 2013, the level of communications and cooperation between the two countries are rising in various fields. With rapid social and economic development in Tanzania, the economic exchanges and trade between our two countries are bustling and scaling up.

Thanks to this, affiliated enterprises of CNBM are intensifying their investment, business and trade in this country. The ceremony of CNBM Tanzania Distribution Centre today marks the new-stage development of our company in Tanzania. Here I would like to congratulate all the staff of CNBM Tanzania on this grand ceremony and your great work.

The CNBM Tanzania Distribution Centre is a new milestone for 11-year development of BNBM Tanzania. It is a significant measure for us to practice international economic cooperation as per Belt-Road Initiative. It will leave such an indelible mark on CNBM overseas development. We are to employ the best philosophy and innovative measures to conduct refined works and build the park into a showcase project in Tanzania. We are to operate in excellent manner, innovative design and  precision management to serve best for construction industry of Tanzania. And we are to example Chinese quality, and Chinese level.

Currently infrastructure construction is booming in Tanzania and Africa at large. As an enterprise engaged in basic building materials, CNBM management and staff will adhere to the core philosophy of “making good use of resources to serve and construct.” Starting from this distribution centre, we will continue our hard-work and the spirit of working diligently. Anchored in Tanzania and Africa, we will amplify our contributions to the local economic and social development. We will coordinate our economic, political and social responsibilities, stick to green development, and fit ourselves into the local communities. Relying on CNBM advantages, we are to reinforce our innovative marketing and refined management, further strengthen our brand, our channels, and upgrade our services so as to provide Tanzanian people with better products, multiple options and better services, create more employment opportunities for Tanzania.

We will work to contribute to developing local economy, improving people’s life and the friendship between Tanzania and China.

I believe, with your concern and support, we will present CNBM distribution centre here into a showcase of CNBM in Tanzania and Africa and benefit the people.

IN other side business partner Mr. Emmanuel Tesha, Director of Dangote  Cement Tanzania Ltd said that such long relationship with CNBM, since the cooperation with SINOMA from the beginning of 21st century, covering the EPC projects of cement plant, power generation plant and oil processing plant, as well as the the production maintenance of above plants and other service such as transport and international trade. And therefore, by this strategy cooperation, Dangote cement has become one of the biggest group company all over Africa.

When I got the news that CNBM plans to establish a massive one-stop whole-sale center for building materials, I felt so excited and cheered. Dar es Salaam is the crucial port in East Africa, it servs the eastern, central and southern Africa with its strategic location. Meanwhile, Tanzania is a long and staunch friend to China. The relationship is like brotherhood and growing forward. The open of distribution center shows a lot to the country. From a nation-wide point of view, it is a positive respond to the call of President Xi Jinping’s Belt & Road Initiatives. From a company’s point of view, it is a fantastic entry to the East Africa.

From a Tanzania people’s point of view, it is a promoter of Tanzania civil infrastructure and industrialization development. While from a participant of engineering construction sector, it provides tremendous convenience to the whole-sale business of building materials with a more affordable price. All in all, it is a truly a good project that benefits both the business entities and the country. The China National Building Material Group shall be praised highly for its profound outlook.

The past decade has witnessed the rapid growth of Tanzania economic, which results in the improving infrastructure facilities and tremendous contemporary buildings. Without doubt CNBM’s contribution takes a significant role. And I do believe, CNBM and Group Six International will enter a further cooperation and contribute ourselves to the development of Tanzania.

Tanzania. As the chairman of the chamber, I am grateful to their constant support to chamber’s activities. Together with all members, we take our social responsibilities and carry out numerous events, for instance the China-Tanzania Football Friendly, China-Tanzania Job Fair, Labor Workshop, Chinese Night Party and etc. There are many Chinese companies like CNBM in our chamber who have strong sense of responsibility, shaping the image of overseas Chinese Companies and feeding back Tanzania.

I would like to take this opportunity to appeal to the Chinese companies. We shall stand with President Magufuli’s policies for Tanzania industrialization, offer our help to promote the development of Tanzania infrastructure, construction industry and manufactory industry.

Ten days ago, in 17th July, the first term of ‘Group Six Talent Program for Tanzania Industrialization’ has just finished. 15 Tanzania trainees coming from Tanzania government and management of the private companies returned from a one-month training in Chongqing Engineering Vocational Institute, China. This is a practice that we take as response to the government’s call. There’s a saying, ‘Teach a man to fish and you feed him lifetime’. I hope more companies to join the similar program, so that to cultivate more talents and help Tanzania to realize the industrialization.

On behalf of the Goverment on  Ilala District Commissioner Officer Mr. Jabir Makame, he said that “as you all know, Tanzania is a great place to invest and do business. In addition, our government is committed and working very hard to ensure there is always a conducive investment environment. Our doors are open and wide for anyone interested to bring capital and do business with us. We offer a wide range of investment incentives just like several other popular investment destinations in the world and, in some respects we are even more generous and attractive.

A very special feature that is rare to find elsewhere in Africa is that for Tanzania is a peaceful and politically stable country. We are a young vibrant multiparty democracy. We uphold the tenets of good governance, respect of human rights and the rule of law. The fight against corruption and other vices in society is unwavering, and the current Government has showed serious commitment on fight against these,”.

My Government is very much satisfied and appreciates the excellent and sincere friendship that happily exists between the Governments of China and Tanzania. Our cooperation is a story of brotherhood and cordial friendship covering every sphere of life. We owe this very unique link to the foresight vision and wisdom of our founding fathers, the late Mwalimu Julius Kambarage Nyerere on the Tanzanian side and the late Chairman Mao Zedong and Premiar Zhou Enlai on the Chinese side.
